David Hume

Chad M. Gafield teaches in the History Department at the University of Victoria. He has published a number of articles on demographic and social history. He and co-author Peter Baskerville have prepared several other articles related to work on the Vancouver Island Project: "Disciplinarity, Local Public Records and the Twenty-first Century" and "The Automated Archivist, Interdisciplinarity and the Process of Historical Research." David Hume is an archivist with the Federal Archives Division, Public Archives of Canada.
